Four Gentlemen

Four Gentlemen formula is the most important in Chinese Medicine for improving digestion. It is the foundation of nearly all prescriptions that nourish the "spleen". Digestive weakness is called by the Chinese "spleen deficiency".

This formula is also known as Si Jun Zi Tang.

Standard Dosage: 8 pills, 3 x day.

Ingredients: Codonopsis pilosula root, Atractylodes macrocephala rhizome-fried, Poria cocos fungus, Glycyrrhiza uralensis root. - Dang shen, Chao bai zhu, Fu ling, Gan cao.

Cautions & Contraindications: Contraindicated for conditions due to excess. Contraindicated during the early stages of acute illness such as cold and flu, or during an acute infection.
